Enrollment Period
Enrollment begins in April each academic year.
Prospective applicants may:
Contact the Admissions Office at the Al-Manar American Section to obtain and complete an application form.
Or download the application form, fill it out, and submit it to the Administration Office before the end of June.
All applicants are required to sit for a placement test and attend a personal interview. Final admission results are announced by the end of July. Please contact the Admission Office by mid-July to follow up on results and avoid missing any notifications.
Age Requirements for Admission
Grade Level
Age by October 1st of the Current Academic Year
Pre-K: 4 years
KG1: 5 years
KG2: 6 years
Kindergarten Admission is based on:
Age eligibility
Personal interview and student assessment
Both parents must attend the interview
At least one parent must hold a university degree
Grades 1–12 Admission is based on:
Availability of places
Personal interview
Academic records from the previous school
Placement tests in English and Math (a minimum score of 60% is required in both subjects)
Registration & Tuition Payment Procedures
Upon acceptance:
A non-refundable registration fee is required, to be paid at the Student Affairs Office
A medical/emergency form must be completed
50% of the tuition fees must be paid at registration (August)
The remaining 50% is paid in two installments:
November
January
Late Payments: A delay of more than one month will incur a 10% late fee, as determined by the Board of Directors.
Note: Tuition fees do not include bus transportation or school uniforms. Fees are subject to change without prior notice.
Refund Policy
Tuition fees are refundable only if the withdrawal occurs before the start of the school year and for urgent reasons.
No refunds will be issued once the school year has commenced in either term.
The textbook deposit is refundable in September of the following academic year, provided books are returned in good condition.

Please note that probationary admission is no longer available.

Transfer Students
Final report card from the previous academic year
Transfer request and certificate of promotion from the Department of Education
Recommendation letter from the previous school
Foreign Students
Birth certificate
2 recent photos (4x6 cm) + 8 additional photos upon registration
Final report card from the previous academic year
Copy of valid residency in Egypt
Letter from the Office of Foreign Students approving the transfer
Copies of passports for the student and parents

Parent Orientation
A Parent Orientation is held during the week before the start of the academic year. It provides an opportunity for parents and guardians to:
Visit classrooms and meet homeroom and subject teachers
Review student textbooks
Receive the latest Parent Handbook
Collect contact information for academic communication
